Nan Wang, MD is a cardiothoracic surgeon specializing in both thoracic (chest) and cardiac (heart) surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, and the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Wang’s expertise is in the surgical treatment of complex, acquired heart diseases. His particular interests and specializations include mitral valve repair, aortic root replacement with valve sparing aortic root reconstruction, aortic valve replacement, coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG), and aortic aneurysm and dissection repair.
As a cardiothoracic surgeon for over 26 years, Dr. Wang has always believed in the concept of synergy to provide the best care for each of his patients. His philosophy is that each member of the healthcare team must work together for the greater good of the patient, pursuing excellence through precision, innovation, compassion, and collaboration. Dr. Wang hopes to always care for his patients as if they were members of his own family.
He is fluent in English and Mandarin. When not caring for his patients, Dr. Wang’s personal interests take him sailboat racing and exploring the wonders of the universe through astrophotography.
